This came from something that happened in a motorway services when my children were small. I couldn't understand why the people at the next table kept glaring at us. Then I saw a shower of baked beans fall out of the sky and land on their table. My 2-year-old son was throwing spoonfuls of baked beans over his shoulder at them! We had to leave in a hurry!

Losing Lucky by Jenny Alexander

I wrote Losing Lucky after our first rabbit died. We buried him in the garden. It was a very sad day, but we enjoyed making a lovely grave for him with coloured stones and flowers. A few days later, a big dandelion plant sprung up in the middle of it, which we thought he would certainly approve of!
